NBX Products Currently Under Development
Nutek Orthopaedics, Inc., is committed to the development and marketing of new technologies in orthopaedic surgery that are based on the principles of non-bridging fracture fixation utilizing a group of multi-planar and multi-directional k-wires and half-pins to capture and hold intra and extra-articular fracture fragments in place. The resulting construct of multi-matrix® k-wires or half-pins is then held in place by an external frame while allowing passive and/or active motion at the joint without the risk of fracture displacement.
Currently under development for release in late 2009 and into 2010 are the following applications of NBX® non-bridging fracture fixation technology:
