  • Lightweight and Radiolucent
The First Assistant is made of a very lightweight, strong and radiolucent polymer that allows the surgeon to manipulate and reduce the fracture while using fluoroscopy to clearly visualize the fracture during the procedure.
  • Fracture Reduction and Control
The First Assistant allows the surgeon to ulnar deviate the hand and wrist to re-establish radial height and inclination, as well as restore proper volar tilt prior to placing the NBX Wrist non-bridging external fixator.
  • Facilitates X-ray Views
Once the fracture is reduced, the First Assistant maintains the reduction and allows the surgeon to move the hand and forearm during the procedure to facilitate fluoroscopic views during the procedure.
